Teaching Scheme Lessons

We pride ourselves on being the only teaching scheme in this area to work along an A.S.A (Amateur Swimming Association) recognised scheme.

Children are not automatically given a badge each term in a money making venture but earn their badges and awards when they are ready. Each swimmer is treated as an individual and encouraged by our professional, qualified and friendly teachers.  We are fully inclusive and encourage children with difficulties to be the best they can. When needed there are helpers in the water to support both swimmer and teacher. However, classes are arranged according to ability and are structured to allow optimum learning in a personalised manner.

Each lesson lasts for 30 minutes, from Parent and Child through to Pre-Advanced.-

Beginners work towards achieving their 25m.

Improvers work along A.S.A. Water Skills Awards and Levels 1 -7 to introduce and improve swimming skills and stroke technique.

Pre-advanced progress to swimming lengths where technique and stamina is developed

Advanced lessons are of 60 minutes duration and progress the swimmer through ASA Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.

Our lessons take part on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday morning and Sunday lunchtime.  To find out more about the lesson times please click here or phone Linda Ashley Davidson on 01480 388466 or email info@swans-swimming.com
