Swans Swimming Club

Swans is the Swimming Club of St Neots, a competitive club based out of St Neots Swimming Pool. We also swim out of Kimbolton School , Hinchingbrooke School and Bedford High School .

Linda Ashley-Davidson, along with Iain Gardner formed the Swans Swimming Club in 1987. The club began slowly with a 1hr per week teaching session. Over the years, the teaching scheme has grown to 9hrs per week providing a combination of ½ and 1 hr sessions from Mums and Tots through to Advanced and Rookie Life Guard sessions.

The Club today

Today, not only do Swans provide lessons, but they provide a challenging training programme for young and older swimmers who want to compete. Swans squads are broken down into Cygnets 8yrs and older; Swans, generally 12yrs and older although transistion from Cygnets to Swans is at the discretion of the Chief Coach; Masters, those of more mature years i.e. 18yrs and over.
